While I accept the premise that the people in the top positions are aggressive on China (Rubio, Waltz, Lighthizer), there are also more China doves and isolationists than the Biden administration (Musk, Gabbard, Ramaswamy) and China-aligned donors (Musk, Yass - which is important given Trump's transactional nature). Ultimately I think the result is a schizophrenic administration that likely weakens America and could create transactional opportunities for China on sanctions, Taiwan, SCS, and more.
