Summertime ...
... And the living is not so easy
Apologies for my sporadic posts in recent weeks. The combination of an intense book writing schedule, some personal commitments, and America’s 250th birthday holiday has taken a toll on my regular weekly dispatches. I should be back in your inbox this coming weekend (July 11-12) and in most of the weekends for the remainder of this summer. No excuses after Labor Day.
Better to write when you have time, and more importantly, have something to say. Writing for the sake of a schedule does no favor to the reader.
BTW, for the last several years I attend the JPM Shanghai China conference in May. The private bank has a separate dinner which is always very interesting.
For some reason, I felt that this year I learned very little from the entire conference.
