Socialism and democracy are not antithetical or polar opposites.
History abounds with examples of socialist governments in democratic countries, France where I live being just one. Your ideas are important and no doubt influential, but nobody can be right all the time. On this point, you have it wrong.
The United States and China have long been the most prominent representatives of two opposing systems: democracy and socialism? Seriously?
To the extent that a definition is required, it's fair to say democracy is a political system whose political unit is run broadly as desired by the people who reside in it.
If that is so, then socialist China is incomparably more democratic than the USA–and people are starting to notice.
US Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart said “I know it when I see it.”
Of course Potter was referring to pornography. And he did see it.
US Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas said “I know it when I see it, and I like it. More please.”
But seriously neither the US nor China has ever been exceptional. Norway maybe though.
It’s like the Cleveland Browns fans who think their team is exceptional.
Exceptional is in the eye of the beholder and their interests. The beholders of the US right now (FIFA excepted) are most certainly not impressed. Putin on the other hand has nothing bad to say about Trump and vice versa. Why is that? Hmmmmm
China is just running the same old export playbook <yawn>🥱 and doing well by it.
Now, why are there no ICE raids in Texas or Florida? They could have a field day down there. But no, we’ll send to Minneapolis the guy that was caught by the FBI taking a $50,000 bribe in a CAVA bag. I think he tried to say it was his change.
Xi said what he said and the Politburo did what they did, but right now there's only one asshat running his mouth on the world stage pretending to espouse freedom, and it's not CCP Winnie. With or without Chinese exceptionalism, it's pretty obvious that China's messaging of being a reliable alternative for a multipolar world is catching on in the West.

And one more thing … EPSTEIN FILES!!!! PLEASE

Outcome is the main determining yardstick and there is only one winning Champ and it’s not US
